Upon the initiative of President of Georgia, Ministry of Science and Education has developed a new strategy concerning teaching Georgian language to national minorities living in Georgia. In the scope of the new strategy, different events are being carried out in the regions of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Qvemo Qartli and Kakheti. These events include formal and informal ways of education.

French language teachers are given a special opportunity – certification exam preparation course now will be conducted by French trainers, alongside with Georgians. Teacher’s Professional Development Center under the Ministry of Science and Education signed a memorandum with French Institute of Georgia on the implementation of French-language training program for teachers.

Special meeting was held in the scope of the program Teach for Georgia. The participants of the conference discussed various topics. `Efficient development strategies of thinking skills` and `planning and estimating of learning process`- these were the main topics of the training, implemented in autumn. 

Teacher’s House alongside with public school teachers and pupils commemorated International Earth Day. 

Georgian participants won the third place in Microsoft Partners in Learning European Forum 2012, held in Lisbon, Portugal. Overall, 82 projects were presented. The grand prix went to Ireland,  the first place to Holland, the Second place to Sweden, the Third Place to Georgia.

Teacher Professional Development Center provides teachers with special trainings in experimental part of Physics. The teachers will be introduced with modern laboratories appliances, also they will learn how to plan and conduct a simple physical experiment safely.
