Recruitment and Selection Print E-mail

Through a set of time, a selection model has been developed based on qualities that are found predictive of corps member success. Young and experienced professionals and students in their final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, are encouraged to apply. All applicants must be willing to make a full-time commitment to teaching and living in one of our placement sites.

Teach For Georgia is looking for applicants who will be leaders in the classroom and beyond. There are many ways to demonstrate professionalism and leadership qualities, and we view applicants holistically by looking for evidence of demonstrated past achievement: achieving ambitious, measurable results in academics and extra-curricular activities.

We will select our Fellows based on their emerging skills, specifically looking for:
- Ability to achieve ambitious goals
- Ability to work effectively in challenging environments
- Ability to think and plan strategically
- Communication skills
- Commitment to continuously improving performance
- Commitment to the Teach For Georgia mission

The application process begins online, where the applicant submits a resume and a letter of intent. Applicants also provide diplomas including transcripts from their undergraduate and graduate institutions. The next steps are an examination of their subject competences and an interview.
